LEADERSHIP AT FBC PLATTSBURGH

Rev. Wade Wood is a Plattsburgh native. He attended Beekmantown Central School. Post High School he attended Clinton Community College and graduated with a Liberal Arts degree. He is a Disabled American Veteran serving honorably for 15 year in the U.S. Army Reserves. He retired in 2011 after 20 years of service from the Clinton County Sheriff's Department as a Sergeant. Towards the end of his police career he felt a calling by God to learn more about and to serve God. He began his studies in 2006 at Liberty University and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors in Religious Studies (Cum Laude). He went on to earn his Masters of Divinity in 2010 from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary (Cum Laude). He has served many churches in the area through pulpit supply. He currently also serves at the local hospital by providing religious services.
